[s-cars] how many miles can the AAN bottom end last without bearings/rings?

I think you'll find that the bottom end of a well maintained Audi I-5 can last a good 250k... if it is kept to near stock power output. Also, most of the spun bearing incidents that I've heard of occurred on engines that were recently rebuilt... pointing to a flaw in the rebuild process.

The I-5 bottom end is very stout, and can withstand a great deal of abuse. This is why they are such a great platform for quite powerful builds.

Hey Peter,

Spun bearings generally do not ruin a block. Usually the crank gets
scored and needs to be turned (different sized bearings are then used).

As for the bottom end, I'm new to the AAN but enjoying the hell out of it.
