[s-cars] Fwd: RF remote sensor relay????

Yeah!

My remote is broken (physically, not electrically), and I don't much 
like it anyway.  No way I'm spending $90 for a used replacement that I 
don't like.  I notice that the key is the same as an A4's key part of 
the key.  I like that remote a lot better too.  I know the A4s have a 
different FCCID and probably frequency as well.  I've been thinking 
about using the A4's receiver with the A4's remote.

So is the receiver built in to the relay (I have a late S6 without the 
IR detectors on the B pillar) or is it elsewhere?  Electrically 
compatible with my car?
