[s-cars] Winter tyres and wheels

Iain:  I am in Vancouver BC and as a result, my winter involves a lot of
rain
 and just some snow - until I head out of town for skiing (Whislter,
Sun 
Peaks, Big White, Apex, etc).  I have been running 215/55/16 Pirelli 
Wintersport 210s on early Audi A8 five spoke 7 x 16 mags.  I  have
found 
the tires work great in both the wet and snow and are still good in the
dry
 (a bit of push, etc. but still good grip).  205/55/16 would be a more

correct size but since I am lowered, I purposely selected a slightly
overtall 
tire to get a bit more clearance.  I do have to run 5 mm H&R spacers
(and
 longer wheel bolts) to clear my BIRA System 1 Boxster calipers.
