There was a test drive on the UK show Top Gear of an A8 TDI from London to
Edinburgh and back on one tank of diesel. Not sure how far that is.

On page 76 of the Feb. 94 issue of European Car, there is an article about
the new Audi 100, 2.5 TD (not sure if is TDi - I will check at home
tonight). 
The article head line is:
