[s-cars] NAC: all season tire deals?

Welcome to the Snaab family!

Too bad the Saab I'm driving (9-2X Aero) really isn't a Saab ;-( !

If you're really thinking A/S up in your area, I'd strongly suggest you
search
for deals on Nokian WR's. In your size, even without a real deal, you're
probably not going to have to pay too much. Unfortunately, your timing
seems to be a little off. Two years ago there was an Audifans GB on
Nokians, last year there was one on NASIOC.

If you're truely interested in A/S and don't want to go with Nokians, I've
had experience with BFG Traction T/A's, but note it was on a slushbox
Subaru Legacy (a.k.a. the beater) AWD. There they were serviceable
in the snow for short drives, but it was incredibly easy to pitch it into
WRC like manuvers, which although fun, not something I'd really prefer
to be doing on a trip of any real consequence. They were pretty decent
in the dry/wet, and for some reason, that particular season we had no
truely icy conditions, so I can't say how they were on hard pack or ice.
