Thanks for that Steve.  The 'new' Blewitt pass and Hwy 97 between
Leavenworth and Cle Elum with its new pavement is wonderful.

Hey, it was my 25th (official) Wedding Anniversary yesterday and I got
to go. (Mind you, I know I will pay for it later in many ways). ;>)

save your rims and suspension. it's pretty, but the pavement isn't
suitable for our cars.

I ride it on my R1200GS all the time and am constantly dodging
chuckholes, rocks, slides and fallen trees.

sounds like you had a great time. I'd already used up my kitchen pass
for weekend to attend a TKD tournament.
