[s-cars] NAC: hard drive crash

no backups?

with the cost of drives and backup software so low these days, there's
no reason not to do it.

a 500GB external drive with USB interface is $150. buy EMC retrospect
for $10-$20, or even better, buy a drive that already comes with the
OEM version of that software. my western digital external drive has it.

setup is <5 min. after that, backups are completely automatic and you
never have to think about them unless you need to recover data.
