[s-cars] S4 -> CQ AAN conversion

Looking for a bit of advice here as I'm contemplating dropping my AAN from
my 93 urS4 into my 1990 CQ.

Rationale is that I've been quoted
~$4000 (is this a good price here in San Jose CA?)  to change the engine in
the CQ, it's a California car in pretty good shape minus the oil the 20V NA
engine is currently burning. All things considered I'm projecting ~4500 -
5000K to make the car into very nice shape.

Donor urS4 is originally an East coast car so it's got the rust underneath
and other usual places for a C$, headliner is shot, paint is shabby, and
suspension (Control Arms, Tie rods) need to be replaced, worst of all is 1
of the steering rack mounts has broken as well... I've been told that it'll
cost me over 6000$ to get the mechanics of this car into shape, forget the
cosmetics...

So, what do the masses think... Does it make sense to put a tired urS4 to
rest and birth an S2 in a sense (the AAN was tuned ~20k ago)
