I have had the pleasure of drives in both the neu m5 and the S600, along
with a lot of 'spririted' driving of a tweeked RS6 on a, er, road test... The
RS6 reminded you that a lot of fun can be had by putting a race motor in an A6
chassis, but you never forgot it was an A6. The M5 was a sophisticated M3,
and covered you in mistake proof handling (like the old 951, make all the
mistakes you want, I'll make you look good doing it)/// but the S600 from a
standstill to 150 was just about the classiest urgent push into the leather,
like a citation 10 on a short runway. I also understand in Renntech computer
form, low 12's are the quarter.
If you ever get the chance, the S600 will certainly put the luxo bar(ge)
about as high as it gets. A short list of cars may just get by it on the fly,
but will be driving all out doing it...
BTW, it was David E. Davis that said you haven't reached true driver status
until you've owned a v12...

That's the whole thing- a Brabus modded widebody S Class doesn't look
unassuming. It looks
badass and very hot-rod.
The nice thing about the S600 is that it looks like an ordinary big Mercedes
and not too many people
know that they can do 0-60 in about 5s and run the 1/4 in the low to mid
13s.
A Maybach 57S would be even better.
