[s-cars] headlight multi-function switch

I would check the bulbs to make sure they are not high-wattage
bulbs. That is the usual culprit for switch failure, and the German
high wattage
bulbs definitely require a relay. It is not usual for the european
lights to come with high wattage bulbs, but you need to make sure,
and I also
recommend stock bulbs or HIDs. Check the connections and grounds,
and clean the headlight connectors to ensure you aren't drawing any
excess current because of a poor connection there as well.

Make sure the wiring connector and the switch are making good
contact, and there is no tension on the wire that could cause the
connector
to separate, since a poor connection can also overheat the wiring and
pins.
