I used a Sachs sport 6-puck clutch when I RS2'd. Worked very nicely, although my left quad quickly dwarfed my right...

Subject: [s-cars] New RS2 setup too much for stock clutch?
So I have been full RS2 for about 2 weeks now. I honestly did not feel the
car was as fast as my old mtm 1+ setup but really hadn't had the car out on
the thruway or parkway to really open it up and let it stretch its legs.
I did tighten down the wastegate nut 3 turns from stock since I felt maybe
the wastegate was causing it to dump boost.
So this weekend took the car up to the cape. Floor it in third gear from a
roll and watch the revs rise disproportionate to the acceleration as the
clutch slips and then eventually grabs. Then later floor it @ 70 mph in 5th gear
trying to get in front of slower moving traffic as my lane was ending and
the revs just skyrocket.
Car has 90k and clutch was replaced at the stealer by P.O. @ 50k miles.
I didn't expect this.
What are my options, Spec or Centerforce?
Thanks,
Dave
