Greetings all,
As you may recall, I lost my 97 S6 in an accident last fall. After
some fun of bouncing it around at steamboat 07, the time has come for
the firesale of parts. The engine, Instrument Cluster, steering
wheel, and big brakes are all taken. Everything else is available.
If you need anything else, please let me know. Note: it is being
parted out during spare time between projects, so some items might
take a little patience (payment is only when at time of shipment).
List of some of the bigger parts available:
Short Shifter linkage from Europarts.
92 springs that were rust treated and rubber coated along w/ Koni
Yellow Adjustables. This setup had only 3k miles on it. You'll get
the full strut towers, etc. so you just have to remove yours, and put
in the (takes very little time) new ones. Caveat: you will have to
swap spring, shock on the driver's front because the accident bent
the tie rod arm on the strut tower. Asking $500 for the full set.
All walnut trim is in great shape, even has a walnut burl matching
shift knob and boost gauge face plate (that replaces the ash tray).
Seats are in great shape (always cleaned and treated with castor oil
to keep soft).
The '97 remote unit allows you to use switchblade keys (I don't know
if you can swap it into an older '95).
Full size spare tire on steel wheel.
Many body panels are still in great shape (tornado red).
The car is in Colorado for those who might want some of the bigger
items.
Cheers,
Brian
