Dave,
I share your sentiment. I have just returned from Russia where I spent
the whole winter. Prior to leaving the States in October of 2006 I
bought a 2004 Lexus RX330 and sent it to Russia for me to drive over
there. After several months of driving the automatic I can report that
this is definitely not my cup of tea. Yes, it's a far cry from Audi, and
yes, I had to drive an automatic in the Russian snow, but still... I
can't picture myself driving a two pedal car any time soon.
