I have thought it might be nice to get TT sedan sometime. They are good
looking (I realize this is an opinion) and turbo powered. AND! they are
getting cheap enough that I can afford one.
This is THE 5 cylinder turbo forum but many drive other Audi's. Why no
TT's?
Let the discussion begin...
Working for the dealership for a while I was able to drive more than few
TTs. For my taste, they are similar to the 914. _No room_ to work, tinker or
modify. I can't even begin to imagine spending as much time trying to modify one
of those as I do my other 5 cylinder cars.
As you said- styling is purely "opinion". Having said that, the styling
reminds me of a Nash Rambler which was compared to an upside down bathtub. When I
see one I always think the stylists _only_ tool was a compass or protractor.
Or maybe they cut a basketball in half and thought "that's cool", put wheels
on it.
Just my "opinion". For those that have them and love them, please take no
offense, as I respect your opinion, and hope you really enjoy the car. (No
flames please.)
Impractical as hell has never stopped me from owning other cars, so even
though the TT is such, that isn't a factor for me, but might be for others.
They are quite fun to drive.
