Hap, you don't compare, the rest of us do. As not to betray any of Rod's intentions, I think the comparo will come down to HP/Weight. As rod has reduced the weight of his street A4q down to 2900, I'm thinking he's done some Justy incited homework
500ATWHP - S car at 3800lb
= 3800/500 = 7.6lb/hp
A4Q at 2900lbs then
2900/7.6 = 381HP
Sounds most reasonable, and a much higher rpm band in which to do it.
Hap, I take nothing from either one of your projects. I just see dancing with miss piggy as an interesting exercise. Dancing a A4Q as a great project.
Cheers
Scott J

I assure you, I accuse neither of you of growing up.

As a disclaimer, I've nevah thought of Rod Haney and myself as competing and I have no idea what he's running or dynoed/run at the track. He may have matched my numbers before I went stroker but the new motor is something very special. The new stroker motor features a BVBATCH, Big Valve Big Adjustable Timing Cam Head and an ITS F271 turbo with Saridea tubular mani that works in the 550-740 hp range with the capability of 840 hp. My goal for this motor is a comfortable 525 hp ATW at 18-20 lbs on pump gas. I'll also have a 100 octane tune that should be good for 600 hp+.
Hap, wit dakine fun thoughts not from Evahboost, Maguire
