Hap
I like a lot of cars for what they are. That said, I have spoken to Scotty
Davis on the amount of dollars he put in his 20vt urq, and I'd venture that
your total without the latest project, would probably put a multiplier on M.
Davis and an exponential one on M Dawson?

I built one of these monster S cars for a guy, and when he was done with the
first couple stages, he got passed at Grattan. I then explained the next
steps and the cost, within a week he sold the S car for a decent return, bought
a 930T and leased an S8. Now 4 years later, he's got his eye on the new
S6, and put some more tweeks into his turbo.... Great roi, and the best of
both worlds of speed.

After taking a hot lap in his bone stock S8 (when the P car was in for
service), I'd also propose that a well gussied up Miss Piggy has a hard time
putting distance on the s8.

I know what it takes to do the investment on an S car. From a builder, to a
supplier. I love watching the progression of the passion to rational
thought too.

That is your perspective and you are free to choose in this great country of
ours. I like a car that can accelerate like crazy with all the underhood
steroids I can possibly get her to swallow, with the exception of spark plugs
that is, still handle herself well in the twisties, and brake like there's no
tomorrow. The weight of MP, although a challenge, can be handled adequately,
pun intended. Speaking of Pobst, he and Michael Galati both drove my car at
Sears Point and loved it for what it was. Randy was, in fact, the person who
came up with the Bistein revalving numbers that I and others have used with
great success. The car at that time was running the T04E Garrett w/RS2 mani,
FMIC, Big Reds at the 4 corners, Bilsteins and Eibachs with coil-overs in the
rear, and of course the HRSB along with a few other things. Anyway, that's my
.02 cents arbitraged for the millennium.

Hap, wit dakine steroid view not from Evahboost, Maguire
