The complaints about the aftermarket control arms all reference the poor
quality of the Meyle rubber in the bushings. I haven't had nor have
I read
of a ball joint problem.
The complaint about the Audi dealer part is the price, of course.
The TRW arms seem to have the best reports and claims to be OEM
supplier parts. This is the best price I have seen in the U.S. :

I bought some Karlyn (U.S. manufacturer) arms from Pelican parts, but
I don't have
enough use for a reliability report.
