[s-cars] Flashbrake - Vehicle Safety System

About 20 years ago, a vendor sold a similar device that was
standalone -- didn't integrate with turn signals but was a
separate light unit that mounted above the rear license plate. It
got power from the brake light circuit and pulsed more quickly as
deceleration increased.
I had one on a car for a while. Only got rear ended once with it,
but that was at a stoplight. Light turned green, car in front of
me didn't go, I didn't go, taxi behind me did go.
Doh.
Anyway, this is pretty interesting.
