[s-cars] [V8] Any body still here? A 92+ Climate Control Q

Well, guys, in my informal test with the car not running I can switch
between center, defrost and lower vents all day long and they will
hold just fine (I believe the 92+ CC uses servos rather than vacuum
for this). Not so on the recirc. Wont 'engage' at all. I'll copy
this to the S-Car List -- same cc unit (except they're boosting ;-)

My original post to the V8 list:

So it's been quite hot here lately. And just in time, I've been
driving the '93 with functioning A/C :-) -- hey, it was 97 today!
And I prefer to run the CC in recirculate mode, but have noticed that
under strong accel (kickdown) the recirc will disengage. So I'm
thinking vacuum check valve? Any BTDT?

TIA

Ingo
