[s-cars] creaking noise

Check where the rack is bolted to the chassis on that side or the
dampener attachments for loose parts or cracked sheet metal. I think
that is usually a popping sound rather than a creaking noise, but
YMMV. Hope you find it, Aaron. Since there is such limited
adjustment in the struts, some Audi techs will loosen the subframe to
get
the alignment equal on both sides, so it's not out of the question
that something was left loose there or elsewhere. It's probably
worth a revisit to have them take a look.

If it is a sticking caliper I would expect it would release sometimes
and you would feel it in the steering.

Have you made a plan for fixing the j-hose leak? I recommend a plan
since the leak doesn't usually get smaller, and many times becomes a
gusher. The small leak makes a horrible mess that streaks back on
the underbody where it attracts dirt and softens rubber bushings. I
recommend repair since the new replacement hose
lists for ~$500. I have used Spokane hose for mine ( known as HOH)
and they do great work. I keep a spare repaired hose on hand and
will make a swap -- if you
are interested contact me off list.

   Planning to visit ? <http://www.euroautofestival.com/default.aspx>
