Yes, I'm using the Porsche pad dampers.  I'm also using either Textar  or 
Jurid pads which are stock.  They squealed for about 2 months but have  settled 
in now.  When they were really noisy I looked into other  compounds.  I read 
something on the Internet about pads made in, I believe,  Ohio.  I bought a set 
~$180 but never put them in.  Their claim to  fame was that they were quiet. 
I'm out of town otherwise I'd look up the  name.
