[s-cars] Curioser and curioser

It's not just the switch. You also need to have a radio that is set up to take two different power signals. One for main power, and the other as a signal that the key is out, making it shut off. Then obviously it needs to be wired appropriately.

Whether the stock radio on the '92-'95 cars is compatible and just not wired that way, I have no idea.

I saw the pin on the floor and probably put in the trash not knowing what it was. Dohhhh!

IIRC it is a BITCH to do because the pin naturally falls out when maneuvering the swith up into place from under the dashboard (I remember a tight fit). Maybe a dab of contact grease would hold it in place. So far my solution has held up just fine. If you do have to cut a custom metal rod to do this I suggest testing the correct length with a voltmeter while the switch is out of the car before installing. A small telescoping mirror tool and a flashlight helps a lot here.
