[s-cars] 600 miles on one tank of gas!

Not to be overly pessimistic, but I'm guessing you jumped on the MLM bandwagon.? One thing I'm not quite getting.... the system you describe relies heavily on conditioning that is regulated by manifold vacuum.? A little problem we have is that we're not operating our little 2.2s in vacuum at highway speeds... and under certain circumstances, we're actually operating at 25psi.

What happens to the little conditioner canister then?

Why don't you provide us a few pictures of your install on your UrS for us to look at?

Thanks,

Dave

yes, I edited right..

through one stretch of the country i almost ran out of gas due to my
sometimes spite my face principles with only shell and BP available. then
just as i thought i was beaten,,, Flying_J to the rescue.

as for the 600 mile tank,, thats due to the HAFC (hydrogen assist fuel cell)
i installed the day before i left. that tank equalled 30 MPG but the best i
saw was a little better than that.
im sure i can get better but i didnt install the piggyback ECU that
typically comes with our kit because we sold out at the time (3weeks ago) ..
anyways, its a decent system but the pre-ignition cat will be the real
storyteller.

i wanted to make a long winded testimonial post and will in the future but i
want more success first. you all can learn more by visiting
www.BWAnetwork.com/home and clicking to watch the HAFC video. ive told the
guys im working with that the videos are a bit corny, but you can get the
basic idea.

its really fun stuff, the first car i modded, '98 plymouth breeze, went from
38mpg to 77mpg. thats a 75+% increase! im sure i can get my ursula above
30mpg once i install our "O2ptimizer" to prevent the ECU from dumping fuel,
which it learns to do pretty fast (50 or so miles) and killing my cat. ..i
also learned you cant clear engine codes while driving (yes im irresponsible
and tried) only when you stop..

check it out guys, i could definitely use some feedback from listers smarter
than myself.
