[s-cars] power steering trouble

OK... I can't really buy that argument.? A transmission is literally NO different.? It is a hydraulically powered piece of equipment operated by a pump producing high pressures, and converting those pressures into mechanical energy.? No pump dust involved.

I'd like something more specific.

What gives is its an entirely different system. It's not just power steering, but also power brakes, and was designed to use mineral hydraulic oil to properly lube all of the close tolerance bits and pieces. I've never personally seen ATF destroy anything, and I've seen more then a few Audis using it, but I do not doubt that it is not lubricating the pump properly and slowly wearing it into dust.?
