Sorry to have missed //S-Fest this year.  I was trying (video is available,
but it runs @ 1.5 gig) to find the limits of a Cayman S in Nebraska.

Defected to the darker side for now, but ...... maybe the ????? S5 or Rs5 or
........... Audi's making the Rs8 tooo problematical for me, at least, to deal
with.  There is, unfortunately, something just never the same (at least so
far IME) as the AAN's

If only the asked price wouldn't be almost the same as my present debt, I'd
go for it without a split-second of hesitation. Add a 5 year
engine-drivetrain warranty and it becomes a cheaper proposition than an
S-Bitch... with much more fun. May be too much fun, as Bruce pointed out,
but we're "supposed" to be adults, though I never found someone who would
confirm it in my case.

Now, the poor guy who will sell the extended warranty will probably not keep
his job for long ;-)

Yes Dave, yes it would be rather cheap.

My take is no one knows what to make of 'that' car (RS6 mit 90k) - as,
we're heading into uncharted waters with that vessel.  It's a 20-30k
roll of the dice in most eyes I'm thinking.  Sad part is it's likely
'fine' and a non-issue, but no one's yet proved it out.  So the pricing
gets beaten down.  

Those things seem to be a tough sell even with lower miles because of
this - however - at this price point someone might just be //silly
enough to dip a toe in?

Who wants to be first MUWAHAhahahaaa, pardon.  Maybe the "other" person
who just popped into me inbox (you know who you are you carazy
Canuckian!).

S-Fest West is a celebration for Audi S-Cars and their enthusiasts. Come
and see what others are driving, exchange stories and knowledge.  Watch
some Audi films, have some delicious food and yak until the wee hours.

Registration is $25 for the driver and $10 for any passengers. Kids are

well as some delicious German beer and other non-alcoholic drinks.

Since S-Fest West takes place in a remote but extremely scenic location
it is suggested you arrive the Friday preceding the event and book a

night as you will most likely be having too much fun to leave at
reasonable hour.
