Nah, not really- automatic is the deal-killer for me. The A8 and the RS6
would be totally different with a manual.
I think that's why Rob Levinson converted a BMW 750 to 6-speed manual from
an 850CSi. That would be an awesome combo- big 7 series with a manual.
That's also the reason why the market for big cars is becoming less and less
interesting to me- the only decently large sedans with a manual are the BMW
E60 5 series, the Cadillac CTS (both generations), Volvo P2 S60/V70R,
Porsche Cayenne GTS.
With the Cayenne GTS, that is probably the next big car that I'll get- I
hope Cayenne GTS resale is as bad as the regular models. Might be really
hard to find one, though. Same with the 535xi wagon with the 6-speed manual.
