Mike,

You're in dangerous territory here. Here's a couple of pointers from 
the Big List of Men's Rules to Live By (TM).

Rule #1: Never reason with a woman.

Rule #32: If it's not for her, it's probably wrong.

Rule #33: If it is for her, it's probably wrong (men are such 
idiots). Save the receipt.

Rule # 57: Anything brought into the house in packages smaller than a 
loaf of bread will be ignored. (See the Radar O'Reilly method of 
appropriating complete vehicles by post)

(This is how I've accumulated a collection of 9 bicycles. No, honey I 
had that bike before we met (22 years ago).)

Rule #98: Purchases that make noise or drip fluids (biological, 
chemical or otherwise) will receive always negative attention from the Missus.
