[s-cars] Snow tires for the A4

Lee, if you're going to run 17" wheels, I would suggest getting 205/50R17
tires, nothing wider.

Nokian does do WR and RSI in those sizes, as do the Dunlop M3, which would
be my top choices.

IMHO, the A4 is simply way too light to be running 225s in snow- my STi is
about the same weight as a B5 A4 1.8T
and it's worthless in the snow with 225/45R17 snow tires.

I'd suggest A6 2.7T wheels if you're looking for an inexpensive 16" wheel
with lots of caliper clearance. Also, ATP S5 if you can find a set, as well
as the stock S6 Avus 16s, Mille Miglia MM-11.
