Stock 2005 G-35 at the dragstrip in Florida in May was a 14.1. My UrS with
a chip only was a 14.0...my friend with his G-35 was rather disappointed.

Guys
I've driven the 350z, and stop light raced one in my urq...
The G35 is just heavier, but certainly has a better matched
engine/drivetrain combo as a 6spd manual shift car. The power to weight
gives paulie the advantage, but not by any huge amount: ~ 10%. Less if
that was an '08 330hp G37 coupe Paulie was crawling from.
Funny: I put up a post on the urq list a few weeks ago regarding
stop light races vs a 350z and a 3.5 maxima. Took both with basic mods
to the urq. With the 930 when you just compare the specifications vs
G35 I see no reason for a G35 to be ditched nor embarrassed to go after
the 930. At full boil WOT high revs, I would expect Paulie to start the
walk away process, but in stock 930 trim, it's not going to be a smoke.
Same reason I go after Hackl when he fires up his 79 930 with my urq. I
like making P drivers work for supremacy. Modded P drivers, game over.
Get on with that program Paulie!
Just my .02
Scott J
