Harold
Fronts or rears?

Fronts are the HP-2 calipers, and I went with stock pads on the allroad. They're not dust free but in a week's time they're not going to make the wheels black either. The front pads are easy to change on those calipers too....simple quick-release style clips and you can spread the calipers with a long flat-blade screwdriver. Really a nice easy job if the rotors don't have to come off. No caliper-retraction tool necessary, as the back of the pad is what you leverage against to push the calipers in before removing the pads.

In the rear, you can use almost any off-the shelf pad available at your local auto parts store (FLAPS?, I always wondered if that acronym meant anything) with trouble-fee results. Been doing it for years on just about any Audi I've owned.
