[s-cars] Current draw/dead battery

Love my Nak too Jim, great head unit.
I was in the very same predicament as you, I would lose power after 1 or 2
days.
Did the same thing as you, ammeter across the battery...
I removed all stuff ( that I thought) that was tied to the battery bus on
the car.
Still would lose power, but it was intermittent.
I finally heard the culprit... while under the hood none the less.
Once I unplugged the running, ( and the car had not been for a few days)
coolant after run pump all my troubles went away. I can now abandon the car
for weeks on end and not fear a dead battery. I can fear other things as the
wrath of the Audi gods hammers on me for leaving car by itself for so long.
Anyways, unplug that puppy... at least you will have it eliminated.
To all, have a very merry, and safe, Holiday Season (or Christmas for the
Christians here). I hope you all get all the tools and toys on your lists
:-)
Mark
