I inspected my driver's side wiper arm and sure enough there is a nice
gentle curve in the cast aluminum portion of the arm. I then removed
the arm and with the arm off the car the bend was even more evident!
Using a vice I carefull removed the curve (or most of it) and
reinstalled the arm on my car. Total amount of time was less than
10 minutes.
Final results, with the worn stock wiper blade it's definitely
wiping better and contacting the entire windshield. Now I guess it's
time to try new wiper blades...question is should they be
the Bosch Icons?
Right now I'm leaning towards the Bosch Icons.
Thanks all for your input, looks like everyone should inspect
their wiper arms and see if they have bent arms.
