Daemon tools installs spyware, I'm very reluctant to use it when  
there are a number of viable, spyware-free alternatives.

I ended up using MagicDisc http://www.magiciso.com/tutorials/miso- 
magicdisc-overview.htm. It worked fine, and didn't infect my system.
