[s-cars] Voltage Regulator

Chuck,

I am guessing you removed the regulator and found the brushes worn
out as the means to determine you need a new regulator? And so, you can
compare the possible replacements with the old regulator? If they
are 14 volt regulators and physically fit your alternator, they
should work fine.
I see the dealer part retails for about $165 for this particular part
#, so it is not a local dealer rip-off. If you took the alternator
to a local rebuild shop,
they would most likely install a compatible asian part since you can
buy a rebuilt alternator for the price of the dealer part. If you
are looking online,
you will probably have to search by part #. I see
<www.ecstuning.com> has a regulator listed with a worldpac photo.
