Well, the first thing that comes to mind is the Servotronic. In N.A. it
was standard equipment, unfortunately, while in Europe it was optional.
Maybe you have it on the '95 and not on the '96? You can unplug it by
removing the relay in the under hood (bonnet) relay box.
Also, tires will make a big difference. Are the same size?
