Hey Vincent ~ I'm not a NErs, but first I wanted to thank you for your
effort in putting this information together.
FWIW personally I'd be very interested in trying to do something with the
Mecaglisse program, but ....
Unfortunately this year I'm committed to an Audi DE on ice in Sweden that
requires a March 12th departure for Paris.
There just isn't any way to squeeze the dates you have into my schedule.
Unfortunately, it's like herding cats. I need more advanced notice to work
things out.
That brings up a second point .... I'm located in Colorado. In order to get
a car to this one day event,
Denver to Montreal, one way, is some 1,835 miles. It's a long way to go,
and then try to come back, in a car, for a day.
In looking at the Mecaglisse site, I see that they also offer their own
programs. I'm wondering if (a) the dates could be some how more or less
coordinated; and (b) one were to say sign up for one of the Mecaeglisse two
or three or 5-6 day programs
including their driving on ice, if one might then also be able to rent one
of their vehicles for your proposed
weekend Audi event, assuming of course that you east coast //S-Fest folks
can get together for one next year
in 2008?
Anyways, cheers and thanks for looking at this. FWIW, we just finished up
last week with the annual Chicago groups exodus to Colorado for the Gruppe-Q
event, www.gruppe-q.com at the Bridgestone Winter Driving tracks up in
Steamboat, Colorado.

PS ~ BTW NErs, you're crazy not to try to make this happen. Come on ~ 12
isn't such a big number to come up with. :-)
