i've been thinking the same thing, as my '92 has 143k miles on the
OEM struts/shocks. they've softened up noticeably, as the car seems to have
more movement over bumps and less roll control in corners. sometimes
there's a little wheel hop from the right rear wheel when taking off
quickly from a stoplight.
my car is purely street use. i plan to stick with the '92 springs but
am trying to determine which shocks to use. i've thought about getting
the OEM boge units, as the original ones lasted a long time. price
seems to be about $75 each.
is there a writeup somewhere that describes the strut/shock replacement?
i do have a bentley but sometimes it's helpful to see somebody else's
plain-english description.
