For the 96 S6, Bentley (wiring diagram 87) has reference to something called
a "Keyless Entry Control Module" J276, which is located under the passenger
seat on the DRIVER side - no not the pump (V94). Though is on a sheet for
Canadian S6 only. Not sure if he 95.5 US S6 is the same - mine's Canadian.
Haven't yet researched it due to it being way below 0 deg C here in Ottawa
last little whicle - I have a central locking problem that might stem from
this module (autonomous locking in cold damp weather).

The remote locking/unlock feature suddenly quit on my
95.5 sedan. It's not the remotes (they still sync
with my avant). The central locking and alam still
seems to be functional...
Ideas on where to start my search? The bently is very
thin in this area. And a search of audifans and AW
was little help as well.
Is there a specific relay just for the remote
function? and where is it?
any BTDT?
