You may want to check back in to the history as I seem to recall a post
saying that 034 were no longer selling the coils with the wiring harness but
there was a new version of the 1.8T coil that was good available from the
dealer.

Subject: [s-cars] Coil swappin...again

Well I guess ive been lucky till now ...

In 8 grueling years of scar ownership and 3 pos failures I think I have a
coil problem. (miss does not move to another cylinder when pos is swapped)

Anyway, I mistakenly assumed the coils could be unplugged so I could shift
them to another cyl to confirm the dead cylinder moves with it.
Unfortunately this is not the case, it seems any new coil will have to be
spliced in. Given the 150kmi on the coils im considering replacing them all
with stock or using the 034 kit. I been reading the basic 034 kit may not
be as reliable as once thought but I see they offer a hi-output kit for more
$ which uses the stock cover which is nice.

Basically at this point I just want to get the car running a gain as cheaply
and quickly as possible.

What do you guys recommend?

Anybody who's done the 034 swap have a set of stock coils I could purchase?

(This is really bad timing as my wife needs the car for a business trip on
Tuesday. Considering this car has stranded her more that a few times this
may have been the last straw!)

FYI im running mtm 1+ (22psi) software and the coil boots are maybe 5000
miles old.

Thanks

Aaron
