[s-cars] Lazy-rear wiper fluid no go. '95 S A

Perhaps cleaning out the nozzle much as you have to do the windshield
fluid
nozzles occasionally when you use cheap washer fluid may improve the
flow.
Of course, you have to actually look at the nozzle, wondering about
it from the
drivers seat won't help much. :-) Look at the direction of the
nozzle as well.

The biggest problem with the rear system is the location of the
reservoir/pump
and the nozzle at the wiper. Lots of plumbing through the moving
tailgate. A
helper is needed to actuate the washer while you listen/feel for the
pump and
look for other places the fluid may be going if the pump runs. The
line may be
kinked at the hinge or the nozzle clogged. You really want to find
the problem
at the tank/pump because tracing the plumbing is not a place you want
to go.

To go further, you have to learn how to remove the rear trim and
hatch upholstery
on the inside. I doubt that is possible without breaking some of the
trim fasteners.
If you go there, I would plan on refurbishing the entire tailgate
while there, because
I don't think you will want to do it again.

I actually don't use my rear wiper even though the wiper/washer works
because I
always forget how to turn it off :-), and I don't want any traffic
behind me to think
that I care anything about them. :-)
