[s-cars] Intake Hose Install Question

As some of you may recall I was having problems with my intercooler to
throttle body hose slipping off under high boost.  Unfortunately the hose
got ripped the last time that this happened.  With some rescue help from a
lister (Thanks Chad!) I have a used stock one sitting in my garage.  I also
have some constant torque or T-bolt clamps, whichever I would like to use (I
just ordered both types since the shipping was really the driver on cost).

The question revolves around the fact that this hose was already clamped
with the stock clamps which are 3/8" wide.  The new clamps are 9/16" or 5/8"
wide.  Will it be OK to use these clamps on a hose that had been previously
clamped with a thinner clamp?  Should I just stick with the stock clamps and
try a new one of those?  Thanks for any suggestions!
