I really meant it to be more of a representative thing, i.e. the O2 sensor
is not going to be the only thing outrageously expensive to service on this
car due to the fact that they put 10 lbs of potatoes in a 5 lb sack.

poster says an audi tech told him it takes 15 hours and the engine
must be removed. ouch.
i wonder if you could just make an access panel in the firewall to
access the O2 sensor.
