You're correct about the CPS. 

Two options:
1. create a mount for the CPS (that's the option I went with). 034 has the templates to machine this and the necessary coolant passages into the 7A head.
2. Use the distributor and 7A or 3B cam with distributor drive gear.

I also have a AAN head that I may let go. E-mail me off line.

I don't think the 7A has any provision for a CPS.
