You and me both. And on a list that I manage, it's actually a rule -- you
must offer something to other listers first, once, on the list, before you
put it up on ebay. Common courtesy to the community. It also keeps the
Nigerian check scams away...

And we've wasted more bandwidth talking about this than the offer *and*
transaction took.

But, hey, I'm just a lister, and I don't make the rules. I just bend them
every now and then... :)
