[s-cars] Headlight Tab Fix, Help Please

Well first we need to know which tabs are you refering to, the two on
the top of the headlight or the two on the bottom?
The two on the bottom are replacable, the two on the top are not, so
you will have to make tabs. I have a headlight with broken tabs and
have contemplated attaching metal strips to replace the tabs.
My concept for the replacement tabs is two metal straps bent with 90
degree bends down and then 90 degree bends back in on both ends. Then I
would drill a large hole through the top of the strap and a smaller
hole through this big hole through the bottom of the strap. The larger
hole would allow acces for either a screw or rivet to attach to the
headlight housing. I would then attach the straps using epoxy and
screw/rivets. Then it's a matter of drilling a hole for the mounting
screw and you are done!
When I finish my repair I'll be glad to share photos.
