Don't feel too bad- my boss' 1999 Suburban is on its third transmission and
fourth transfer case, has 201k or so.

If Audi made a work truck, it would be extraordinarily complex, difficult to
service
and require a million specialized tools and equipment to work on. Do you
really want
that? :-)

Seriously, was any service done on it, ever? Was the fluid changed? Filter?
How
was it driven? Like it was stolen, all the time?

You should read the debate on the Car Lounge about the new Tundra- it's
amazing how
brand-loyal people are when it comes to full-size trucks.
