I'd recommend that you also replace the plastic fitting that connects the 
heater hose to the back of the block, on the other end of the hose from the 
'T' fitting.  My 'T' fitting failed 10 months ago.  When I ordered one from 
Scott at SJM he talked me into also replacing the block fitting.  I was 
reluctant but later thankful because the darn thing just fell apart when I 
tried to remove it.  The cost for both parts was about $19 at that time.
