[s-cars] Knock Sensors/Pinking Noise

A failed knock sensor will show up Vag-com. Also, a failed knock sensor will
cause a severe loss of power.

When you say pinking, you mean pinging, as in light pre-ignition detonation?

If you are getting pinging, then it could be bad gas (petro).
