Wow, that sucks, but at least you are e-mailing today instead of nursing
your wounds in a hospital! I am sure the vultures will be out in full force
soon enough for those parts :)

Subject: [s-cars] Head on collision
Well, it happened to me today. Icy road and the other driver looses
control
in a Isuzu Rodeo and crosses into my lane and bounces off the guard rail and
hits my 95 S6 head on. Probably each of us were doing about 25~30 mph each
at
impact. Wow, never been in a car when an airbag went off. I am very sore
but
walked out of the car, the other driver probably wasnt too bad but he was
hauled off in an ambulance. Looks like he doesnt have the required (by
state
law) insurance. I will probably part the car when I get some things taken
care
so when Im ready I will put it on the list. It has full RS2 with a Garrett
T04E, 996 Brembos, Gen III Stromung, 10 disk changer, Black on Black,
Aluminum
intercooler crossover tube. Etc
Damn, it was a great car, 5000 miles between oil changes with Redline and
didnt even use ½ qt of oil. Ran great. I also have all new CV joints and
many
other suspension parts as I was going to pull it off the road and refresh
the
suspension and install the 6 speed tranny I also have for it. The car also
has
H&Rs and Konis. My Audi, although totaled, still rolled, his Rodeo was
much
more damaged. I loved this car and it definitely showed that it was better
than
his Japanese SUV in a collision. MGH
