Tom et al,

Having helped shepherd some NE//Sfests and having piloted and/or
co-piloted many adventures detailed (or not...) in this forum, I would
have to say that local, state and federal 'authorities' would be on us
like stink on sh!t if we were to offer podcasts. I can imagine it
now...

Thursday 1/18/07 - //Spod cast - Watch a 200 20v rotate on it's center
axis and almost get wadded on a sickly inviting dirt road in E.Bumfuck,
NH!
Saturday 1/20/07 - //Spod cast - Guest appearance! - Watch 100 mph on
corkscrew CT back roads in a Mk IV Jetta!
Sunday 1/21/07 - //Spod cast - See sustained 135 mph on I84 in a 2001
//S8!

Er, um, I don't know how long Paul K, er um I mean Bob Ros, er um I mean
I would remain a free man.....

MUWahahahahahah....pardon.

I think that if you explain that a few years ago the CO branch of the
Audi Mafia made a play to muscle in on the national scene by inviting
all the s-car e- mail listers to a bash in Boulder they called the s-car
nationals. Backed by a massive publicity campaign on the s-cars.org web
site and yahoo-groups, the Don and his Lieutenants held court in their
headquarters, turning heads of celebrity guests and twisting arms of
listers with a show of the green monstah and other fabulous audi s-car
iron.

Now, the NE Audi Mafia could not let that go unanswered, so the URS//
Fest was organized to counter them. Just think, if we hadn't acted when
we did, we could be migrating to CO
every year to pay homage to the s-car. The Don helped us out by
going Hollywood and
TV, and the MN clan resented the CO success, but we had our own great
organization of audiots and beat them at their own game.

Now, if we can just move Steamboat. Well, I suppose we need to leave
something to the CO boys, since they are great audiots as well. What a
coup with the Today Show, Paulie.
Can we get that segment rerun? Or a copy for Apple TV that could be
mysteriously played
just before the news. Perhaps Matt would like to cover the Audi
winter driving school and
the Barcelona experience?

You should make one of those ipod podcasts to help explain this. It
doesn't seem to make a lot of sense in an off-the-cuff presentation.
:-)
